20 DOH hospitals inputting to Registries with PhilHealth e-Claims

1. Eighty-five (85) hospitals are inputting to registries with PhilHealth eClaims

- Of the 85 hospitals, fifty-three (53) are DOH-retained and specialty hospitals.

- The remaining thirty-two (32) are non-DOH (LGU) hospitals.

2. Nineteen (19) hospitals with ready eClaims using the Integrated Hospital Operations and Management Information System (iHOMIS); seventeen (17) hospitals are using other Hospital Information System.

450 Health centers have EMRs in place, inputting to Registries

Six hundred sixty nine (669) health centers (i.e. rural health units, barangay health stations) are implementing electronic medical record systems.

Ongoing test integration for PHIE Lite exchange

140 Health centers with RxBox

One hundred fifteen (115) health centers have received the RxBox device and are implementing the connecting medics.

Out of the 115 health centers, all 697 health staff have been trained on how to operate the connecting medics.

Ongoing procurement of RxBox devices that will be deployed to additional 1000 new sites.

Philippine Health Information Exchange (PHIE) Implementation 1. PHIE Lite (Phase 1) developed and tested for the initial two (2) use cases DOHs Maternal & Neonatal Death Reporting System (MNDRS), and PhilHealth Primary Care Benefit (PCB).

2. Refinement of revised implementing protocols and guidelines on the ePrescription module for PCB transactions that have prescription data for & from private pharmacies or government facilities-providers-pharmacies.

3. Approved and signed Joint DOH-DOST-PhilHealth Administrative Order No. 2016-0001: Implementation of the PHIE

4.Approved and signed Joint DOH-DOST-PhilHealth Administrative Order No. 2016-0002: Privacy Guidelines for the Implementation of the PHIE.

5. Approved and signed Joint DOH-PhilHealth Administrative Order No. 2016-0003: Adoption of the Philippine Health Information Exchange (PHIE) Lite.

6. Approved and signed DOH Administrative Order No. 2015-0037: National Implementation of Health Data Standards for eHealth Standardization and Information Interoperability.

7. Joint DOH PhilHealth Administrative Order on the National eHealth EMRs Validation for National Health Data Reporting Requirements.

8. Issuance of the Standard Codes and Structures of PHIE Lite Use Case/Registries.

9. Activation of the Distributed Terminology Service within the PHIE.

10. Development of the Proof-of-Concept Health Enterprise Service Bus for the PHIE.

11. Development and/or refinement of the PHIE eHealth Government Common Platform Phase 1.

12. Establishment of Physical Infrastructure for Hosting Services for the PHIE.

Ongoing integration testing of PhilHealths Primary Care Benefits and DOHs Disease Registries.
